GPO Service

At GPO, we are proud of the quality and workmanship of our products.

Should your optic no longer function perfectly, we will of course promptly determine whether a repair or replacement is necessary. We will strive to respond within two weeks and offer you a suitable solution, so that you can use your product to its full potential again as quickly as possible.

GPO Support

For support requests, we require the following information:

  • Product name
  • Product serial number
  • Detailed description of the problem
  • Optional: Pictures for clarification 
  • Full name and address
  • A valid email address, and optionally a phone number for any queries

Limited Manufacturer's Warranty

With this product from our company, you have chosen a quality GPO product.

No Restriction of Consumer Rights

This limited warranty is a voluntary manufacturer's warranty. It grants rights in addition to the consumer protection and statutory warranty rights, which are not restricted by this warranty. Therefore, if a product is defective, consumers can continue to exercise their statutory warranty rights under §§ 434 et seq., §§ 474 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB) free of charge.

Covered Products and Personal Scope

This warranty applies worldwide to all GPO products that you have purchased new as a consumer, with the exception of the USA.

Note on Warranty for International Orders

Please note that the lifetime warranty offered in the USA only applies to GPO products sold in the USA. Customers worldwide who order a GPO product from the USA are not entitled to the USA warranty outside of the USA. The limited manufacturer's warranty applies to them.

Scope of Warranty

We grant a 10-year warranty on optics and mechanics for all products, with the exception of products in the PASSION™ SD series, for which we grant a 5-year warranty. We grant a 2-year warranty on electronic components.

The warranty is valid from the date of purchase under the following conditions:

In the case of defects due to material or workmanship faults, we will cover the material costs within the warranty period. We reserve the right to service, repair, or replace the product or defective components at our discretion. In the event of a portfolio change or adjustment affecting product availability, we reserve the right to repair defective products or replace them with products of equivalent value.

Warranty Exclusions

GPO does not provide a warranty for damage caused by repairs carried out by a repair shop or specialist workshop not authorized by GPO, nor for damage caused by improper use, incorrect handling, negligence, accidental damage, or any other interference with the product by unauthorized persons. The warranty is void if the damage is caused by the use of attachments or accessories not approved by GPO. Furthermore, all parts subject to natural wear and tear are excluded from the warranty, such as eyecups, carrying straps, rubber parts, protective caps, batteries, cleaning cloths, etc.

Claims – How can you make a warranty claim?

If you wish to make a warranty claim, please contact the authorized dealer from whom you purchased your GPO product. The warranty is only valid if the enclosed service and warranty document was properly completed by the dealer on the day of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, please enclose the completed service and warranty document and a copy of the invoice with the product. The serial number of the device and the date of purchase must be visible. For return processing, hand over the product with the service and warranty documents and the copy of the invoice to your dealer (place of purchase). Products without or with missing documents cannot be treated as warranty claims. In this case, we will send you a cost estimate for repair approval.

For shipments abroad / outside of Europe, the recipient is responsible for proper importation with regard to customs duties or taxes.
