At GPO, we pride ourselves on the quality and craftsmanship of our products. If your optics need a check-up, you can be sure that we will carefully check whether it is a warranty case, whether a repair or replacement is required. We will endeavor to respond and find a solution within two weeks so that you can enjoy our products again as soon as possible.
Limited manufacturer’s warranty
With this product from our company, you have chosen a GPO quality product.
No restriction of consumer protection rights
This limited warranty is a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty. It grants additional rights to consumer protection and warranty rights, which are not restricted by this guarantee. If a product is defective, consumers can therefore continue to exercise their warranty rights under Sections §§ 434 ff., §§ 474 ff. BGB (German Civil Code) free of charge.
Products covered and personal scope of application
With the exception of the USA, this guarantee applies worldwide to all GPO products that you as a consumer have purchased as new goods.
Note on the guarantee for international orders
Please note that the Lifetime Warranty offered in the USA only applies to GPO products sold in the USA. Customers worldwide who order a GPO product from the USA are not eligible for the USA warranty outside the USA. They are covered by the manufacturer’s limited warranty.
Scope of the warranty
We grant a 10-year guarantee on optics and mechanics for all products, with the exception of products in the PASSION™ SD series, for which we grant a 5-year guarantee. We grant a 2-year guarantee on electronic components.
The warranty is valid from the date of purchase under the following conditions:
In the event of defects due to faulty materials or workmanship, we will cover the cost of materials within the warranty period. We reserve the right to repair or replace the product or defective components at our discretion. In the event of a portfolio change or portfolio adjustment that is accompanied by an availability of the product range, we reserve the right to repair defective products or replace them with equivalent products.
Exclusion of warranty
GPO does not grant any warranty for damage caused by repairs carried out by a repair shop or specialist workshop not authorized by GPO, or for damage caused by improper use, incorrect use, negligence, accidental damage or other interference with the product by unauthorized persons. The warranty is void if the damage was caused by the use of attachments or accessories that are not approved by GPO. In addition, all parts that are subject to natural wear and tear, such as eyecups, carrying straps, rubber parts, protective caps, batteries, cleaning cloths, etc., are excluded from the warranty.
Complaints – How can you make a warranty claim?
If you would like to make a claim under the warranty, please contact the authorized specialist dealer from whom you purchased your GPO product. The warranty is only valid if the enclosed service and warranty document has been duly completed by the dealer on the day of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, please enclose the completed service and warranty document and a copy of the invoice with the product. The serial number of the device and the date of purchase must be visible. For returns processing, hand over the product with the service and warranty documents and the copy of the invoice to your specialist dealer (place of purchase). Products without or with missing documents cannot be treated as warranties. In this case, we will send you a cost estimate for repair approval.
For shipments abroad / non-European countries, the recipient is responsible for the proper import in terms of customs duties or taxes.
